Foodsharing movement saved more than 31 tons of products in 2 months

Recipients of assistance were both charitable organizations, for example, the non-profit organization Ark, as well as private individuals.

Food savers, as representatives of the movement call themselves, primarily try to help those in need, actively cooperating in Moscow with bakeries, vegetable stores and other food donors. The project was originally conceived as an environmental initiative and also works in St. Petersburg. In 2019, volunteers managed to save more than 145 tons of food in Moscow.
